The book in overall is a decent piece of work, nice artwork, tons of information (hell, 750 pages!), detailed quest descriptions - with the possible outcomes which I found very useful, maps with all important items, secret areas, unique stuff etc. If one plays the game on hard difficulty I think it is essential to have this guide as it really helps you to plan your actions or just maximize the efficiency of looting-shooting and leveling (hi there, power players! :)

Compared to the plain F3 NON-goty guide (paperback) this book contains some extra descriptions of NPCs, available weapons, gear etc., it's not crucial but makes this edition a bit more complete.

To mention the only flaw as it is well known issue from forums: if you go with fast-travel to another location (ie you change zone) than it might be a bit tricky to find the corresponding map in the book as the locations are not listed in alphabetical order but they are grouped by zones of the Wasteland. Once you figured out in which zone you are it's easy to navigate again.

Overall verdict: Must Have item in a die-hard Fallout3 fan's inventory.

Sorry for baad inglish.

Great guide, better than the standard version and helpful to read through on a mission-by-mission basis.

However, it's layout makes it difficult to use when searching for specific skill books. This isn't really a fault of the book itself, it's just that there are lots of online maps which do a far better job that a printed book ever could. It was just a shame that even with this book I found it easier to refer to websites for some of the game.

Nonetheless, this guide is good, and purely for the mission walkthroughs is worth the price.

This guide couldn't really contain any more info on the game. Everything you could possibly wish or want is contained within those two cardboard covers. The additional map is also extremely useful. Presentation wise, the book looks great, it's nicely illustrated and easy to follow, whether you're using it every step of the way or simply checking up occasionally.

All quests and objects are described very detailed.
But the paper is very thin so be careful by turning the pages.
