If you like finch you'll love this. It has a couple of songs from the album, what it is to burn, plus 'waiting' and 'new kid', which are both amazing. Although i was kind of disapointed it didn't hav 'frail' it was definetely worth it, a must for all finch fans!

I got this EP in a Drive-Thru records boxset, I only bought it for the 'New Found Glory' mini album. Not long after I bought 'What It Is To Burn'. And this EP rocks emo ass. Okay yeah so it does contain both 'Perfection Through Silence' and 'Letters To You' from their debut album but these versions are different. In some ways better too. The other two tracks are sooo cool, 'Waiting' is one of my fave Finch tracks ever and 'New Kid' is beautiful, definalty Finchs nicest song.
This EP delivers some of the finest emo available and it's all across 4 tracks. If you're new to Finch, I would reccomend 'Falling Into Place' first, just as a taster, then gradually move on to 'What It Is To Burn' and then 'Say Hello To Sunshine'.

At first this doesn't seem like such a great deal - only 4 tracks, 2 of which are on the album What it is to Burn.
However, they are completely different recordings - I absolutely love the album and you CAN tell the difference between the versions.
All four songs are fantastic, and the sound is a bit more raw that the album versions. If you like the album What it is to Burn, you'll love this CD (go on, buy it!)

The first 2 tracks on here are on their debut album and are both very good/classic. 'Waiting' was also surprisingly good, despite its ommission from elsewhere. It could have fit very well on their debut. 'New Kid' is longer and slower but has a thoughtful tone and is still a very good song.

Not a first thought as it only has 2 tracks previously unreleased, but a standard first EP for a band.
