granted the first season does suffer from the occasional bad CGI, but the second season improves, and the first season will be a bit slow as its well the first season. I'm a few episodes away from the finale of season 2, and I can tell you I really am enjoying this show, and I am not easily pleased when it comes to Sci-Fi.
thankfully there is a third season so no signs of cancellation as of yet.
But the show is a breathe of fresh air. Ok may not be total original or genre cliche free.
But it is good Noah Wyle is excellent but it is an ensemble led cast.
and though it focuses on the humanity and peoples interactions but this is far from Eastenders meets V.
though would be nice if they made it into a 13 episode run rather than 10. I get that 22 episodes might be a bit too much and could lose pace with that many episodes but 13 would have been cool. But it does seem that the US has copied the British way of a ten episode run. (not to say I'm saying that America are copying England)
I totally recommend this series, and if you've been unsure over the first season keep on, I was at first had gotten the first series earlier but sold it. But thank god brought series one and two together. And am really enjoying it.Read more ›
Disjointed plotlines - poor acting - philosophical soul-searching dialogues - the usual dross.
The aliens are poorly conceived - the subplots are tangential - the robots are clunky -
It's a B-movie thinned and stretched to fill a few series - and a few hollywood pockets
It is a blatant rip off of real science fiction.

This is a great series. Underrated I think. Doesn't get the headlines of say The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones but still a great watchPublished 7 months ago by Tim Forbes
