I honestly wish this was a trilogy. I have told all my friends to buy this book and the one before it called saving grace. She is an amazing writer cant believe she was 22years old when she wrote the first book thats the same age as me and I cant imagine doing the same. This is such a great read cant stress it enough.

Book is awesome read the first one so was very excited to read this one and it didn't let me down. I love the way she writes our minds sometimes runs away with us she displays this in her writing. I also love the way she glorifies God by always making the characters situation come back to the Word of God.

HASH(0x9b119eac) out of 5 stars Superbly done! 6 Aug. 2013
By Lin Bee - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I finished this great book at 4:00 AM this morning and wiped away huge tears from my eyes as I plodded back down the hall to bed, again. This story has to be mostly true. It is just too wonderful to be all fiction, well, some may be the authors marvelous imagination. There is SO much to love about this book. There is something for everyone: true love, really hot hatred, violence and fury, vicious jealousy, wicked betrayal, corruption in local Gov't offices, sweet marital tenderness, harsh realities, and most of all there is a huge amount of faith in a loving God that Ryan weaves like a golden thread in and out of her well written novel of falling away only to come back stronger.

One of the few elements that I did not agree with was Mike's decision to leave her all alone knowing she was pregnant even with all the mistakes centering around her doubts about being thrown into sudden motherhood. To me it was not the time for a new husband to leave his vulnerable bride that he supposedly loves so dearly. Then, in the end, after reuniting with her a shocking life-threatening injury tears through the pages. I immediately blame Mike! Hot tears sting my eyes as I sit with my dimmed-down Kindle so near the ending. It is a bitter-sweet moment with all hopes dashed. But thankfully all turns out well but what a ride that was for me. I hope her other two books are not as traumatic and bumpy as this one was. But as much as I love Ryan's style of writing, I know I can handle whatever lies between the pages now that I have survived "Fall From Grace".

Ryan is a truly fascinating young woman in her early thirties. So transparent, so very, very real and down to earth. I love her and consider her a friend even though we have never met and may never meet until heaven bring all true believers home at last. Keep writing Ryan.....as you have many friends who love you.

HASH(0x9b122948) out of 5 stars She does it again! 4 Feb. 2007
By LoVe2ReAd - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
After loving Saving Grace SO MUCH, I read After the Fall, and felt disappointment. I was happy to see that there was a sequel to SG and believe me, she does not disappoint!!! In FfG, we find all of the main characters back again. Mike and Grace get married, Grace and Trina face troubles in their friendship, Mike and Grace have a trying first few months, etc. This story was quite a ride.

It has been a long while since I have read books by authors who write for characters. It's insulting when the characters change to fit the plot twist. Nope, not here. Ms Phillips knows her characters and never has them acting in ways in which the reader says "Grace would never do that."

I truly loved this book, and was sooooo upset when I finished it. THIS is the type of Christian fiction that needs to be out there. Readable stories about saints who face real struggles. Everything part of this book was so real. Each character seemed real and had palpable emotions. This book had it all: scenes to make you smile, laugh, drop your jaw in shock...loved it.

I cannot wait for the next one! BRAVA!!

HASH(0x9b12284c) out of 5 stars Great, Great,Great Read 26 July 2006
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I loved the book. I preordered mines and just couldn't what for the sequel, I even read the first book again just to get the fill for it and refresh me for this one. When I first got it, I was like (wow) this book is thicker than the other one, but like the other lady said, once you start you can't put it down. I loved it, the direction of this book was not only focused on Grace but all so on Trina, so you will see more in dept who the characters are and get to know each of them better. Trust me I could go on and on about the book but I might tell the whole story (like my sister would say) so definitely pick it up and become involved in the lifes of Grace/Mike and Trina/others and you won't be disappointed.

HASH(0x9b124c18) out of 5 stars Where's the next book?! 19 Sept. 2013

I loved "Saving Grace" so I had to read "Fall from Grace." Over the two books, I fell in love
with the character of Grace. She's working through issues and discovering who she is while also
growing in her relationship with Christ. She also works through relationship issues which is a very
common real life theme. So what's next for Grace??

This was another great book by this author. For those of you who have been anxiously awaiting the sequel to Saving Grace, you will not be disappointed. The book is thick, but once you dive into it you will hate to see the end coming. Kudos to you Ryan for another great read.
