From the Back Cover

I thought things would change when I found the others. We would stop running. We would fight the Mogadorians. And we would win.

But I was wrong. Even though we have come together, we barely escaped from the Mogadorians with our lives. And now we're in hiding, trying to figure out our next move.

The six of us are powerful but we're not yet strong enough to take on their entire army. We haven't discovered the full extent of our Legacies. We haven't learned to work together. And there's still so much that we don't know about the Elders or their plan for us. Time is running out, and there's only one thing we know for certain: We need to find Number Five before they do.

They caught Number One in Malaysia.Number Two in England. And Number Three in Kenya.I am Number Four. I was supposed to be next. But I'm still alive.

This battle is far from over."

This is a really enjoyable book. The pages seem to fly by. I know it was a good book because as soon as I finished it I cannot wait for the next book to come out.

Since the last book all is going well for the Grades. They are hiding out in 9's huge luxury Penthouse, complete with its own Danger room (Lecture hall) used for training. They have met up and even managed to re-join with Sam. John has started to accept the leadership role expected of him. Nine is his General, specialising in battle strategy and training. 6 is a warrior. Marina is the team medic. 8 is part jester part team conscience. Sam and Sarah are learning to be better soldiers. I must say Sam continues to impress me as the series progress. Even Elle discovers part of her origin. With everything going right for them you know something has to go wrong.

We learn a little more about the Mogs and Lorien as well. Especially from the extracts of the back lost files. The Lorien's seem to be more technologically advanced versions of humans, yet for all their advancements there society works the same as ours. We meet Adam for the first time and learn a little more about him again in the extracts at the end of the book.

There is a lot more swearing and cursing in this book, which could be a by-product of being around 9 all the time in his penthouse, or they have realised they are solders and the harsher language is in keeping with harsher times. One thing I did not like about the book was in the other books they always talked about how strong the Grades were, the super strength seems to be forgotten in this book. All in all a good enjoyable book.

I am such a huge fan of the I Am Number Four series, and I was super excited to get the most recent book, The Fall of Five.
It is the fourth in the series (not including the novellas) and it is just as fast paced and awesome as the other books in the series.
The book was going so well, at first, but then you get to the end. I was so mad at the ending, but I'm not going to spoil it.
All in all it was fab, and I'm definitely going to get the next book. The only part that I thought was bad was the ending. It was very dramatic but just so sad.
If you are a fan of the series, definitely get this book.

I wanted to love this book, but am beginning to find this series rather repetitive. It's very formulaic, and although it was novel for the first two books I am finding it rather wearisome now. It's as though there is a tick sheet and the author has to cram in fifteen fight scenes, two kisses, twenty eight bits of gratuitous violence etc. Somewhere in there is a great story, but I think that by now there should be a bit of slowing down and the story should build with more tension and force. It has the potential to be truly great, but is coming across as a bit mediocre here.

review of book - it has a cover and some pages with a story printed on there, the story is in same vein as previous few, this is good as the book is part of a series, the story line is also good

I only wanted t orate this book but noooooo, that's not allowed you have to do your homework and write a review as well, I liked the book, if you've read the previous books you'll buy this, if you haven't read the previous ones, READ THEM first and don't be dumb!

Well..... I need a minute to recover from that. Started reading I am Number Four and haven't stopped since. Managed to finish it in a day because at the end of each chapter, there was something stopping me from putting it down. Not going to spoil it but if you are a fan of the series then be prepared xxxxx

As usual we are left hanging with what will happen next being the fist thing that will come in to your mind when you put the finished book down. 20% of the book was taken up with extracts from other books one of which I have read hence it is a little pricey. I would recommend it but would prefer it to be longer... I also found the end a little predictable I won't ruin it for others but I had my doubts about the traitor from the start.

Holy smokes - I was totally not expecting that! Before going into The Fall of Five, I have to say, I wasn't expecting a lot. I've seen other reviews were people feel as though this is the weak book in the series - I'd have to disagree with that.

Like the The Rise of Nine, The Fall of Five is told from multiple points of view, however this time, we see Sam (yay!), John and Marina. They're all coming to their own conclusions of whats happened over the last few weeks, but they all want things to change. They want to become stronger and better so they can defeat the Mogadorian'. It's not until number Five sends a message to the remaining Garde that they realise they need to reach him before the Mog's do.

After reading The Rise of Nine, which I didn't enjoyed as the first two books, I guess you could say it lowered my expectations for the fourth book, but I was glad to be proven wrong. The Fall of Five was a great read for me, it was fast paced and full on surprises. There were a few exciting twists that I wasn't expecting, and some that I did, but still it didn't make me enjoy the book any less, I still loved it. I wasn't sure which direction Pittacus Lore would take, but it was very interesting and so important to the Lorien's journey - it was great. It leaves me questioning a lot of things but I know I'll soon have the answers.

One thing that I always enjoy from these stories are the multiple points of view and this one didn't disappointment. There's one scene in particular that I loved - it's a fight scene between the characters training and Pittacus Lore jumps back and fourth between Sam, Marina and John. It was really good to read, very entertaining and very thrilling! It was good for the characters to have some down time and enjoy spending time together.
