Told from a duel POV Jenna and Sutton. The two main characters have been in love from being young but neither told the other. Sutton was her best friends Lacey's brother. After Jenna finishes college and her boyfriend announces via text that their relationship is done because he's now dating Lacey her best friend she heads home broken and meets up with Sutton who is working for her father. They instantly pick up from where they left off six years previously and instantly fall into a relationship. Both seek revenge, Jenna wants pay back and Sutton wants to protect his sister from that guy. So together they plan. Jenna finds it difficult to stick to the plan because she cant forgive either of them for their betrayal. Then they fall badly for each other and want to forget the plan and concentrate on their own relationship. Something happens which I cant spoil but Sutton decides hes now no good for Jenna as he's been that guy previously like her ex. So he breaks up with Jenna and hes horrible to her. I hate that fact she is that girl throwing herself at him. Yes you can understand the first time because you would want answers just like Jenna but after what he did and said to her, would you really go back for more? Really? I got angry I wanted to throw my kindle. He didn't do any chasing at all. She forgave him just like that ..... Not my kind of book but if you like just romance without much of a story then you will like this book.

As far as stories go, its a great little one. Jenna our female is fiery and strong and that's how I love my female book heroines to be. Sutton our male is hot...with a bad boy rep that he's trying to reform, he and Jenna had such amazing heat and chemistry in this book, it really bounced off the page, and their moments together where steamy. Although I wasn't a fan of Sutton's sister Lacey, I could not fault his love for her. I have two brothers, and if either of mine did for me what Sutton does for his in her time of need I'd love them forever. His relationship with both the ladies in his life are admirable, and although some of his decisions could be called into question slightly, he more than makes up for them later on.

I only have a couple of gripes, number one being that the story as a whole seemed quite easy, not predictable, just easy. The second being, it all seemed to just rush. The scenes I felt could have been slightly more in depth, there didn't seem to be a huge amount of drama of angst. I was hoping for more of a confrontation between Jenna, Lacey and Adam but sadly this fell a little short for me. Although I did enjoy this, I was actually never bored, I did feel it lacked some POW! to it. And you need a good bit of POW! to an NA novel otherwise, it becomes the same and a little ordinary.

Julie Particka is however a very good writer, and she writes with a great deal of passion and love for her characters. She managed to write the story that needed to be written, and I would mostly definitely read more from her in the future.

Overall Fall With Me isn't a bad read at all. I would recommend it if you'd like something light and quick with very little drama. I would this is a solid 3.95 stars for me.

Jenna's best friend and fiancé (secret since he never allowed her to tell anyone) cheat with each other and break Jenna's heart. She hides out at college for a couple of weeks after she graduates 'cos she doesn't want to tell her family about what happened. When she finally goes home, she has to work with the same best friend's brother - who she had the hots for and embarrassed herself over in high school. What she doesn't know is that Sutton also had the hots for her - and still does. When they get together, the sparks are still there and they can't ignore them.

After the fab Pretty Souls, Particka has finally came out with a new book. Don't think that it has anything to do with Pretty souls - it doesn't, I'm still waiting for that one. The characters are fun (if a bit dull - Jenna) and the relationship between Jenna and Sutton is real and well written.

Spoilers follow

I didn't understand Lacey's need to get married just because she's pregant - I mean, it's not exactly a stigma anymore. But she was more than willing to marry a guy she didn't love and was actually well aware of the fact that he's a giant douchenozzle just so she didn't have a child while she was single? I can't understand that and it made her character a bit unlikeable .... well, even more unlikeable since she did sleep with her best friend's fiancé.

Besides that, I really did enjoy this book and was really glad that the author is writing as Julie Particka again. I'm hoping this means more from this alter ego and perhaps .... more from the Paranormal Response Team?

I received a copy of Fall with Me in exchange for my review.

When Jenna's fiancée, Adam leaves her for her best friend, Lacey, she decides to return home to work for her father and set her life back on track. When Sutton, Lacey's brother and the guy that Jenna had the hots for in school picks her up from the train station, she can't deny their attraction for one another. But that needs to be put on hold, first Sutton and Jenna need to plan revenge on Adam and get him away from Lacey, then they'll try at their relationship. Or at least, that was the plan.

I read this book in no time, it was sexy and captivating with real characters that interact in realistic ways that progress naturally. Basically if you like romance then you should most definitely read this book.

There are two main threads of the story of Fall with Me, the first is the romance between Sutton and Jenna, which has been brewing for years via their respective crushes. And the second is the revenge against Jenna's ex, Adam. The revenge wasn't all that complicated, and actually the way that it worked seemed very normal, and exactly what a real life person would do, or maybe just want to do.

The chemistry between Sutton and Jenna was intense, though they weren't without their problems, and that was what made them so likeable as a couple. Plus Sutton took Jenna paintballing, and that is just awesome (and if anyone took me on a date like that it would be awesomer). Also they didn't just jump into bed straight off like what happens in other books.

I really enjoyed Fall with Me, it is definitely worth a read!
