I am a huge believer in fate, everything happens for a reason and we meet people at certain times in our lives that change to course of our futures. Fake Fiancée is a brilliant example of how fate can bring two people together at possibly the worse time of their lives and the impact creating ripples into the future.

Sunny escapes an abusive father heading toward her mothers estranged family only to find herself in a terrifying car accident, saved by a handsome stranger but unable to discover who her saviour is for fear she will be returned to her father. The connection she felt to the person who saved her life is something she carries with her as she settles into her new reality.

Three years after the accident that nearly claimed her life, Sunny is living comfortably in college, she has an extrovert best friend and an eccentric grandmother who she has developed a close bond with since leaving her father in the past. Given the opportunity to life in a little house in return for a few DIY projects, Sunny finds herself living opposite two of the most famous college football players on her campus.

Max is the star quarterback, driven and focused he has his eye on he ultimate prize, a trophy his NFL playing father failed to secure. the Heisman. Max is willing to do practically anything to ensure he is a contender for the trophy. What he doesn't want is any scandal or gossip that coud cause him negative publicity and impact his chance of winning. Max has had a strained relationship with his father all of his life which only worsened after the loss of his mother. He is determined to avoid the pitfalls his father made, especially where groupies and cheating were concerned.

This the first time I have read anything by this author, A. L. Jackson recommended it and I'm extremely glad she did because I loved Fake Fiancée.
It doesn't take long before you get caught up in this story the opening is enough to hook you in. The whole incident with Sunny has you holding your breath and then there's the mystery guy who saves her, we have no idea who he is until Three Years Later.
Fake Fiiancee is Max and Sunny's story and it is what it says on the book cover, however they really are well suited to each other and have an instant connection... they have already met of course .. we know this but do they and this keeps you wondering all the way through.. who will realise and mention it first. It's good!!
There is plenty going on, what with Max's career, the supposedly fake relationship and the constant worry of something happening to Sunny is never to far away, there are a couple of crazy characters that just want to spoil things you can't quite work out who's genuine, thank goodness for Tate, Isabella and Mimi they are great secondary characters to this story even Ash but he was a bit of a mystery not in a bad way, when he first met Sunny there was a familiar feeling between them that had you wondering for a while.
Great epilogue by the way.!
I really like this author's style and after reading the teaser from Dirty English that is what I am reading next.!

Max is the University's Star Quaterback he's in for a very important season trying to make it to the big Leauges.
His only focus is Football and making it Pro.
He's not interested in the Girls that throw themselves at the Players that's not his thing, but unfortunately for him he's every girl's wet dream and they all want to be seen with him.

He finds the perfect deterrent in the form of his neighbour Sunny. If everyone thinks he's in a committed relationship they will leave him alone. Now he just needs to convince her to help him.

The whole fake thing is working out great fooling others is easy, but trying to fool themselves that they don't have real feelings is proving a tougher job than either of them thought.

I loved these two Max maybe a Jock but he's a whole lot more than that. I just adored him.
Sunny is a tough little cookie and they just suit each other perfectly.

This is just a fantastic little read fun and sweet. Everyone needs a bit of Max in their life.

I'm hoping for more because some of the Players were very intriguing and I'd love to read their stories too.

Max and Sunny have chemistry from the first time they meet.
But she doesn't do athletes after being hurt by her previous boyfriend.
Max is heading for great things with his football career about to hit the big time, he needs to keep p his head in the game and groupies off his back.
So he asks Sunny to be his fake fiancee, as times goes on the chemistry gets stronger and feelings grow.
Loved the chemistry, the friendship and Mimi what a great character. Great book.
