OK, I may have exaggerated a tad, but it did break and after only 32 years of use.... And my wife cannot find the original receipt (her filing system needs looking into...) so we cannot send it back.......
It seemed an awful waste to throw the remains away hence, after checking on Amazon, I purchased this handle and can only describe it as brilliant.
Brilliant quality, brilliant price and, as has been mentioned by others, there is something very rewarding about trimming it to fit then fixing it solidly in place.
My old garden fork lives to be abused again....
To summarise, excellent quality and amazingly good value... Highly recommended...
Just be aware of what seems obvious to me anyway that you will need a drill bit, a means of clamping just in case and either a rather large rivet or something like a coach bolt. You could weld the bolt into place with a nut on it if you have the means but a rivet would be better
