Natsu is known as the one and only fire-breathing Dragon Slayer, but this next adventure will take him to the next level. Luckily, he still has his trusty team by his side: Happy, a flying cat; Gray, an ice mage; Erza, a knight who switches armour and abilities mid-battle; and Lucy, a wizard who fights with a set of celestial spirits.
When these Fairy Tail members first joined forces, they formed a team no one could topple – but this next mission could be their last.
Enter the Dragon Cry, a magic staff rumoured to possess the power to destroy the world. For years it’s been safely guarded in the Kingdom of Fiore until Zash, a traitor of Fiore, steals it and delivers it to Animus in the Kingdom of Stella. Now it’s up to the gang to infiltrate the Stella Kingdom and retrieve the staff. It seems like it should be an easy job, but what they uncover isn’t what they expected.
Contains the film on Blu-Ray and DVD with both the English dub and the original Japanese track with English subtitles. Presented in Collectors packaging.

I purchased the 84 minute version first, realized it wasn't dubbed in English and was able to return it in about 5 minutes through amazon support chat.
The movie itself is good, not great.
Although their mite be a continuity spoiler in the last battle scene (I have to check the last four episodes before the Fairy Tail Zero arc)
The character designs are a little more fuller and robust, same goes for the color palette then the TV Series as to be expected of an original story made for Movie theaters.
Sound design was also upscaled nicely for the theatrical experience but there didn't seem to be any major changes to the score to set it above either runs of the TV series (which I guess I'm not really mad at)
And there's a nice precredit scene setting up the 3rd and final TV series run, that's been semi-announced but the release date should be confirmed when series creator Hiro Mashima announced his next new manga series project in April 2018
anyway the fairy tail gang is back at it saving fiore and the rest of the world through the power of friendship, (and Natsu's unending dragon power)
I love the series.
## acouple of things to note.
The fanservice level is quite high in this movie.
NaLu comes closer than ever to happening
What happened to Carla? omg that tranformation came out of left field.
