When fitting a new stereo in a FORD KA MK1 , you will require a number of parts to make a successful change. This particular kit from Car Audio Warehouse includes an ISO adaptor lead, aerial adaptor and fascia surround. Without this the new stereo may not fit securely and will therefore be both dangerous and inconvenient when driving. This particular kit is designed for the Ford Ka MK1 1996 - 2008.

I tried the double sided tape and wasn't great so just used Gorilla glue and that did the trick using the area on the left hand side above the hole as purchase and also the tall section on right
Son has now got a 'banging' stereo, CD player and MP3/Ipod player in his car for under £60 all in. Oh, and the Pioneer itself is a cracking unit, still available on Amazon for under 50 notes. In these days of rip-off Britain, the whole thing is a bargain.
It has a big flaw tho: the fascia has clips ONLY on the upper side, and none on the bottom side; this means that, when fitted, it could be removed literally with a pinkie finger; I fitted the radio on it and, when trying to take out the USB drive from the stereo, I ended up with removing the whole fascia with the whole stereo.
Since it would be too much of a hassle requesting a refund then sending it back to the seller, I've resolved this issue by using two zip ties to strap the fascia onto the car's dashboard. It now stays in position perfectly.
Also the cables that came with the package:
the loudspeaker cable couldn't be any more perfect, it just clipped into the male end of the car, end of the story.
The power cable, instead, has the female end bigger than the male end of the car's cables. It fits, it works and it seems to hold onto the male end, just don't be surprized by the different dimensions of those two parts.
I've also checked the same cables at Halfords, and they sell exactly the same cables, maybe it's just my car's cable end that shrunk during a washing cycle.
Oh, the radio remover kit (those two metal hooks) worked flawlessly, nothing much else to say.
Long story short? It's worth buying it, just be prepared to fix those flaws.
EDIT: I've used this adapter to fit ...Read more ›
