Anyway, my point is that they're a real treat; total indulgence, addictive and reminiscent of childhood sweeties. More, more, more! Irresistable and at £9 for 60, unbeatable price too!!
I have to be honest, I am not a fan of (black) liquorice preferring red if I can get it! However, these and the Catherine wheel types are my dads favourite, so to be able to get him a box of these is a treat. They came well packed with the box shown, having the top part of the lid folded down, and the whole box sealed in shrink wrap. This was then packed into a Box with other packing materials around it. The box containing the Liquorice was a little smaller than I had anticipated, but this is not a negative reflection on the item, just my expecting a box of 60 wands to be larger! The box is quite heavy, for its size.
Would I buy these again, yes I would, but not for me! :)
I'm a huge fan of liquorice, but had to chew through this crystal glaze with rigor and patience, to get even the slightest compensation of tasty satisfaction. My toddler concurs so we threw these away.
Exactally the same ones we buy from the shops, but only 2-3 sticks at a time.
Need to have good self control and these will last a while! Ours had a good best before date on them!
