Product description

Like all of our stoves, this is MULTIFUEL - for Coal and Wood. All Fireglow Stoves are: - Hand Made From Freshly Mined Iron Ore Solid, Heavy Cast Iron Construction, GERMAN High Temperature Glass (Schott), Advanced Airwash System (Self-Cleaning Glass), Dual Vari-Vent Control For Complete Control, Suitable For Both Top Or Rear Flue Outlets (Connections Included), Easy To Maintain, High Efficiency Cleaner Burn Tecnology, CE Approved - EN13240, No Quibbles Returns Policy, 12 Month Guarantee, Fireglow is a high quality range of solid cast iron stoves designed for optimum efficiency and low emissions. Fireglow27 has a 5kW output and is constructed entirely from thick, solid, 'Virgin' cast iron - not from remelted scrap as many, even expensive stoves are. All stoves have advanced Airwash system to keep the glass clean and all are suitable for multifuel use, both wood and coal. Fireglow Stoves have great control, with two sets of vents, so can be operated slowly for slow smouldering fires overnight or with the simple slide of a lever, will open up, with maximum heat output and roaring flames. Each stove has a thick cast iron inner lining and comes with lift out grate, ashpan and handle for non-messy cleaning out and is ready assembled, requiring just the legs to be bolted on at home. The top of the stove can be used to cook / boil a kettle etc Fireglow Stoves all comply and conform to EN13240. Stoves require this standard to be installed legally. Your stove will come complete with the relevant data plate. You will probably need a length of FLUE PIPE and a small tub of FIRE CEMENT, as well as REGISTER PLATE KIT available in our Amazon shop, which we will POST FREE if purchased with your stove. Fabulous looking stove. Nice big window to be able to see the fire. Arrived on time. A corner was marked, but I contacted the seller and they rectified the problem immediately, which was great. I have had lots of problems getting it fitted (finding a company to fit it) so I haven't seen it working yet to be able to comment on the heat output, etc, and at the moment it is August, so it will be a couple of months before it's used anyway I imagine. However, I am excited about getting it installed and being able to use it. I would recommend a word of caution to people wanting to buy a stove though about getting your chimney inspected for installation BEFORE you buy the stove, as companies are telling me my chimney should have a liner, which has been priced between £340 and £600 by different companies, with installation costs on top. This is what has delayed me being able to fit it, and if I'd known about this I may have not bought a stove due to the total cost being nearly £1,000 including installation, sweeping, liners, cost of stove, flue pipe and register plate.
