This single-breasted trench with contemporary modern check works dressed up or worn as part of a casual look. It buys style points with its split on the back hem, large button exposed at the top and slimline cut. Pair over a hoodie sweatshirt, jeans and statement sneakers.

I usually take a 38" chest (measured chest 37") and sizing for this item indicates a small, which turns out to be a very good, comfortable slim fit, but verging on a little tight under the arms when wearing a thick pullover. It hangs well and looks smart. At just over 6ft the sleeves are close to being just a fraction short on me.
The main shell is 90% polyester 10% viscose, lining 100% polyester, and the recommendation is dry clean only (if you are inclined to follow instructions).
It is fairly well made, a few short hanging threads, and a couple of instances of puckering at the seams, the latter minimized with a light ironing (coolest setting), as were some rather obvious creases out of the bag (instructions indicate do not iron). Creasing does not seem to be a problem generally however, in use minor creases fall out.
I am of stocky build myself but the large does fit me but will wear it without the coat buttoned up,ideal for wearing with a dark polo neck or open shirt ,I like the large collar on the coat too.
The coat was a bit crumbled when it came in the post,so I immediately hung it up,important to note the coat is dry clean only,to me it’s ideal for spring and summer use or dashing in and out of the car but for winter it would be back to the heavier winter coat, very nice spring or summer coat though.
The design is nice, modern yet classic cut, so perfect for a variety of uses.
It might be a men’s coat, but my teenage daughter wanted it for going to interviews etc. She likes the ‘non female’ cut of it as she is quite busty.
