Faith is an avid reader, and lives in London with her husband, three cats and a guinea pig. Remarkably, they all manage to get on well!
She writes light/low fantasy that mixes elements of classic genre fiction with her own unique world. Her first novel, The Fairy's Tale, has been described as a mixture of Cinderella and 1984. The Fairy's Tale was rated 'Outstanding' for Plot and Story Appeal; Structure, Organization and Planning; Character Appeal and Development; Voice and Writing Style, and finally, Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar in the 24th Annual Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Awards (2016). The Judge stated "I loved this book (...) I read most of it in a single sitting. I wanted to find out what happened to the characters. I do hope that you find a sizeable audience who will enjoy this book as much as I did."
Her second novel, The Academy, is a Gothic inspired sequel to The Fairy's Tale.
Faith is a geek, and basically grew up in a comic book and collectables shop. As a result, she has a love-hate relationship with the phrase 'bagged and boarded' and has seen more Beanie Babies than she ever would have wished to. She wrote her undergraduate dissertation on Buffy The Vampire Slayer and is currently studying fan fiction and self-publishing, thus proving you can do anything if you ask nicely enough.
You can follow her on Facebook (/faithdleeauthor), Twitter, and Instagram (both @faithdlee). She has a blog (http://faithdlee.tumblr.com/) and a website (fdlee.co.uk).
