I like the original story line and the way it develops. The settings are interesting and the pace is fast enough to keep the reader engaged. It took me a little longer to get into the characters but they are well developed and the antagonist is suitably menacing.
Bea’s tragic past colours the way she views the world and the people in it. Both she and her brother Ben are exceptionally talented and their drive to succeed is a direct result of their unfortunate childhood.
The story’s suspense is good and the horrific events that occur are chilling, without being unnecessarily graphic and are suitable for the readers of this genre. The connections to past events are less subtle than I would have liked but they are in the main, interwoven well into the present day story.
The ending ties up most of the loose ends but leaves enough unsaid to make you want to see what happens next.
I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

Alexandra has done a fantastic job of surprising her readers at every turn!

This book centers around a young girl, Bea who seems to be lost as to who she is and where she fits in. After graduating from the prestigious school as Ms Popular, and losing her best friend in a tragic car accident, Bea enters the real world and where she is no longer top dog. When her brother Ben, a famous musician, takes her on tour for the summer, things get even more out of control.

Bea's sad past seems to haunt her at every turn and no matter what she does or where she goes, she can't out run it

With stalkers, murder at knife point, unrequited love and a heart break, this story has a little something for everyone.

"If Bea has learned one thing, it's that life is too fragile, and it's anybody's guess who will make it out of this nightmare alive."

Five Suspenseful Stars! Bea has a tragic past and is trying to move on with her life. Her past seems to keep finding her no matter how she tries to out run it. What will happen to Bea and will she overcome her past? Alexandra writes an amazing story where you feel every emotion the characters feel. The book keeps you on the edge of your seat with every turn of the page. This is the first book in the Broken Promise Series. I I'm anxiously awaiting the next book in the series. I highly recommend this book!

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.

Title: Exit Wound
Author: Alexandra Moore

This was a first time read for me by this author. It took me a little bit to get into this book but once I did I quite enjoyed it. I really liked this book it was very interesting I never read the others before so this was a first for me. I liked the POV between the characters it was entertaining and enjoyable. I wasn't sure what to expect in this story as I jumped into reading it with no knowledge of what it would be about. I liked how the story flowed and how it keeps you reading to find out what is going to happen next. The majority of the book was about Bea’s tragic past colours the way she views the world and the people in it. Both she and her brother Ben are exceptionally talented and their drive to succeed is a direct result of their unfortunate childhood.

I gave this book 4 stars only because it took me awhile to get into it. But in the end when said in done I would defiantly recommend this book to all my friends who read the same types of books I do.

Wow.. I always get so amazed by the level of talent some authora have. This lady is fanominal!!

This story felt so personal and the level of feels in this book is just heart wrenching. She makes you feel each and every moment that Bea and Ben go through. The love and protectiveness that these two have for each other is so beautiful. To have a sibling love you to this level can only be heart warming and beautiful.

Alexandra did such an amazing job bringing the emotions through each character and straight to your heart.

Thank you Alexandra for allowing me to read this. I am so excited to read the next and excited for your bright future as an author!!
