I eagerly received my copy of Cry Wolf from Amazon last week and devoured it in the same day!! Sad but true.

Patricia Briggs has created a character in Anna who is not as outwardly gutsy as Mercy Thompson in PB's sister series but with depths that we are sure to explore as the series develops. The characters of both Charles and Bran (the Marrok) have been fleshed out and we start to see glimpses of what has happened to make them the werewolves that they are today.

This is a series that I'm sure will run well independently of Mercy Thompson but also complement it also. A thoroughly enjoyable read.
