It is a really comprehensive book for someone who is more than Excel literate ,but by the title I would have thought it to be an idiot's guide, this it is not. I needed to research on 3D referencing and how to add 50% to a value. Not difficult I know, however, neither this book nor "Formulas & Functions for Dummies" bought the same time could help. The language used is too technical and if you understood this along with most of the formulas/functions then you had no need for this book or "Formulas & Functions for Dummies". I did not read the books from cover to cover and possibly I missed the topics I was looking for, but I do not have a Degree in Excel language. As I said a very comprehensive book but not for the Dummies who really need a bit more than the basics as well as speaking in a language that can be clearly and simply understood. Perhaps it is because I am not American and there is a "gas ~ petrol" language barrier.
