Not fully screened

It does have gold plated connectors but it is not fully screened and so could be liable to interference eg. humming audio picking up noise from the video. It does have all 21 pins connected but is just 21 strands of cable rather than separate coaxes for RGB & audio, which is what I would expect from the description of 'fully screened', so does the job can I can only give it 2 stars. The cable in the picture looks wider so is probably a fully screened cable, the cable I received was thinner, only around 8mm.

Okay, can you think of a suitable title for a review of a Scart lead?! I have a box full of dozens of Scart leads but all were just that bit too short for the job in hand at only 1.5m long! So reluctantly I had to order this 2m lead from Amazon. Just the job and seems like a good quality lead for the price. Nuff said!

I have a DVD and when it played the buzzing noise was terrible,I looked up the net
and they suggested one of these scart leads, with the gold plate as it would help.
And yes it did no more buzzing and having to turn the volume.
