In terms of form factor, there is no discernible difference between this and the original; they are virtually identical in appearance (other than the printing) and the clone fits perfectly into my Fuji HS50. The quoted capacity is the same (1260mAh) as is the voltage (7.2V). As with the original, it is a lithium based battery, rather than a Ni-cad, so no memory charge problems.
Whilst I have no way of verifying the specification, I equally have had no reason to doubt it, as my camera functions faultlessly for just as long (ages actually!) as on the original.
I'm sure there must be a corner cut somewhere, and maybe its lifespan is not up to the original's, but any deficiency is certainly not obvious and at only 15% of the cost of the genuine manufacturer's item, it really is a no-brainer. This is a perfect spare to ensure your camer is never 'out of power'.
All the batteries in my XT1 last about the same number of shots which is not many so I need spares and have to constantly recharge them. One minute the battery meter shows part charge and the next it is dead. Without spares I would be unable to continue shooting. I now carry three batteries just to be safe.
Since all of these type of batteries have a life of about 500 recharges and need replacing, why pay more.
There is an Ex-Pro white version that costs £4 more. Who knows why, as the voltage and mAh specs are identical. For the price of two white ones, you could have three black ones.
Test was no auto off, continuous focus on a white image (so continually focusing lens), LCD on. A high drain situation to me.
New EXPro lasted 145mins
Used Fuji battery lasted 129mins
I only rated 'as good' because my Fuji battery has been used & a couple of years old. Maybe a brand new Fuji battery would last as long, or longer.
