Review

"A fun and breezy read. Anie channels "The Far Side" with great success and maintains an acidic, devious tone throughout the entire book." -- Ain'tItCool.com --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

Having had the Bunny Suicide books I thought this would be along the same lines, sadly not. The pages are of poor quality and not brilliantly drawn, majority of the cartoons not really even funny in any way. Off to the charity shop I think. Some one may like it.
Packing and delivery times were good though!

If you're like me, you're always on the lookout for something new in dark humour. That's just what this book is: twisted behaviour by cartoon penguins. The subjects range from current events and characters to major historical disasters. And the summary was spot on: a perfect counterpoint to all that penguin overcuteness like "Happy Feet". Think "Far Side", or "101 Uses for a Dead Cat", but funnier (imo) than the latter.

And a quick comment to the reviewer who said it was a "Bunny Suicides" rip-off: I couldn't disagree more. Andy Riley's stuff is great, and everyone should get it if they like this style, but wouldn't his books be a rip-off of the "Dead Cat" and "Far Side" by your definition? There are so few dark humour cartoon books that any fan of one should probably check them all out, including this little gem.

This is a great book! If you like penguins- but always think can they really be that cute this book is for you.

Very funny, with some very original ideas- yes I guess it is like Bunny Suicides- but if you liked that you will love this.

Recommened as a great little stocking filler or a not so present!

So many people are taken in by penguins, so cute and innocent-looking. Only Batman knew the truth, but now we can all be enlightened. You will never see that 'dancing feet' mob in the same way again!

I had picked up her EVIL CATS and found it very funny. I'm getting this as gifts for several people I don't know how to shop for. This is a safe gift for a female friend or co-worker in additional to my penguin-loving niece. The format for the two books are very similar, except that there appears to be more cartoons devoted to penguins rampaging (many penguins doing different things in one cartoon). The idea of little penguin birds doing wickedly funny things is hilariously appealing to me.

I wish there were more books like this in this genre. A nice book to throw on top of your coffee table and have your guests go through while you're busy doing something else. Though in the same line of humour as The Bunny Suicides, is original in its own way, and hysterically funny. Made me look at the cute waddling and dancing penguins in a whole new light.
