Chris Rock and Ali LeRoi are back for yet another amusing season of Everybody Hates Chris, a sitcom which looks at life in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, as Chris grew up during the 80's. His family, Rochelle, mother, Julius, Father and siblings Drew and Tanya all live in one big house there, and we get to see their crazy antics.

Again, this is a good series from Chris Rock, who's now a successful stand up comedian - as he tells sometimes rather exaggerated tales of his childhood - which usually involve him losing out or being hated. Some of the best episodes here include Everybody Hates The Port Authority where Chris gets hustled by some street punk; the one where they stay off school to see Wayne Gretsky and the one where Chris finally thinks he's going to make a new friend at his school Corlione. As usual, Miss Morello is still very racist and rather rude to Chris, and our resident bully Joey Coruso is still annoying Chris.

The DVDs are not bad either, nice moving menus which are easy to use. Each episode has a webisode where one of the cast, or crew presents the episode of that week. There are some commentaries from Ali and Chris which makes this interesting. Shame there were not more. The extras are plentiful too: and include a Chris Rock unplugged session, more Miss Morello-isms, a music video from Slaver Slav and cast interviews. CBS have done a nice job of this DVD.

The quality of the picture and sound are excellent too, better than the usual CBS fare. Sadly this is only in English, but there are subtitles in all the Scandinavian languages. Sadly, the rest of Europe is not covered by this region 2 release, which seems bizarre.

All in all, this is a great way to spend many a happy hour watching this, Chris is very funny and Tyler is still very good.

Worth a look, though I'd probably not buy it as there is no sign of season 4 being released, and it's been a long time coming too.

As funny as ever. Love the show. Main problem for me was that the discs was scratched so could not watch some of the episodes. Too late to return as purchased for an xmas present for my son.
