This is the second book and picks up were the first book epilogue finished.

Marlows life is regimented and organised, she has a career, a man who plays by her rules, well he wants more she just wants a no comment monogamous relationship, her friends give her a varied social life, her sass and rite burn bright and support, she still gets pleasure from baking her cupcakes but most importantly she feels in control. She's a survivor. The events of the past have shut her down emotionally but she is in control.

Ever wants to find Marlow the girl he loved, the girl he let down, the girl that tried to save him and he's determined. He's hit rock bottom in the past but as the story unfolds we get the whole story, the family tragedies, the awful truth of his addiction, his battles, his wins and his friendship with Jeb. Yes smart mouthed Jeb is there.

This is a thought provoking read, clever, well written, at times painful sad, sexy. A story of redemption, forgiveness, knowing when to walk away, never giving up and love. More than anything love.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book

This is book two in the Over Duet and I only have one word to describe it. WOW!!
You need to read book one (Low Over High) first.
It's been a long time since a story has touched me and bought the feels and the tears (many, many tears) and will most certainly stay with me forever.
I'm literally at a loss for words.
This book was everything! Everything!
I'm all for second chances and this went above and beyond all expectations on how I thought the duet would end. It was raw and real and progressed in a way that absolutely made Ever and Low's story amazing. I'm so sorry to see these two go but it was worth it! Thank you.

I have absolutely loved this entire series, going to really miss reading about them all, the last 2 books about Marlo and Ever They had everything, and I needed the tissues more times than once, 😥 so glad we got their story, just hoping we get Jeb's story next! This series needs a catch up of all the characters and NOT because any of the books were lacking but purely because I loved them and don't want them to be finished! 😉

Firstly i would highly recommend reading the first book in this duet, Low over High

This book starts where the first book ends, with Marlow, finding Ever’s note in her door, 8 years after being horribly betrayed by Remy and fleeing New Orleans. Ever has spent those years, coming to terms with losing his twin brother, losing Low and fighting his addiction. Now he’s clean, doing great as a chef and has always been searching for Low. He’s finally found her, but can he possibly win her back, or will she even let him be in her life again.

OMG This book had my emotions in tatters. If ever a couple deserved a happy ending it was these two. Ever just melts your heart in his determination and never failing hope of winning back Marlow’s heart. She is his everything !! Marlow just can’t let those walls that protect her heart crumble. So much pain and hurt is waiting to spill out, and i feared so much for them both and how they would deal with it. Both have been to that rock bottom pit and have clawed their way back, and yet again i was entranced into their world to live it right along with them.

This book and these characters are beautifully written. From beginning to end you want to be right there in their story, you easily get attached to them and they gently make their way into your heart. You feel their pain, their love and their fears with every page. Heart melting and heart warming. You will have plenty of smiles and lots of tears and enjoy every page !! I know i did !!!
