About the Author

Sibylla Matilde grew up in the mountain valleys of Southwest Montana, and grew up exploring the alfalfa fields on the back of a horse. She attended a two-room schoolhouse 1st through 6th grade where she had same teacher the whole time. Beginning at about age 12, Sibylla discovered historical romance, feeding off of work of Jude Devereaux, Lisa Kleypas, and Karen Robards. She loves a book that can make the reader run the gamut of emotions, from the sweet glow of new love to gut-wrenching heartache. She always has stories floating around in her head, living in some fantasyland until she writes them down to free them. She is a true romantic, a bit of a Pollyanna, and a deeply emotional soul. Music is her emotional trigger. Growing up with a Wagnarian-opera-loving mother, Sibylla grew up with music that digs deep into her soul and pulls out emotion. The soundtrack to her life includes different genres and generations. She looooooooves Thirty Seconds to Mars (rather obsessively, actually) with a little Kings of Leon to mix things up, and pimps them out regularly to all her friends through Spotify. She also enjoys watching Met Opera HD broadcasts at her local movie theater, and hopes (listening Met?) to someday see Diana Damrau reprise her role as Mozart’s Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte—The Magic Flute. Sibylla lives with her husband, Mike, a man who she firmly believes saved her from her self-destructive, hot mess self. He makes her laugh every day, even when things seem to be falling apart around them, and has proved to her that love really can heal a shattered soul. In almost 21 years, they have never had a fight, but argue regularly with their two teenage kids who have, unfortunately, inherited their father’s quick wit (unfortunate as it is a quick wit that Sibylla, herself, definitely does not possess—there is a reason she is a writer and not a stand-up comedian), and live a quiet life with their two weird little rescued Chiweenies. Wait… teenagers and little yap-dogs? Okay, maybe not so quiet. :)

So starting with a warning. This book is full of hot, dirty scenes. I don't know if that was a warning or advertising.

There is so much more to it than that though. I'm not one for having girl crushes but I have the biggest crush on Raven. She is what I want to be when I grown up. She is confident, she lives her life her own way, she gets her kicks and has fun. I love her hair, I love that she has her own unique style but totally rocks it and makes it work. I love Raven.

The relationship between Raven and Drew is about everyone getting their needs met at first. And boy are they met and then some!! Then it changes and develops. You are taken through the rollercoaster that is life with Raven and Drew. Life has never been easy and love is something that neither has experienced truly and deeply, even from their own parents. They are kindred spirits and they go on a beautiful journey together.

I really enjoyed this story. It had a bit of everything, it did make me shed a tear, but it made me laugh, gotta love Denny!!

There is a Sibylla Matilde book for everyone. Take a chance on this author, you won't regret it!

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love the Copperline series by Sibylla Matilde.

Cody is my man, but let me say that Drew tugged at my heartstrings too. There was something about witnessing this broken man turning his life around and giving love another shot that did things for me. Usually, we are seeing this type of scenario through the eyes of a woman, so it was refreshing to learn through the eyes of a man. They are just as sensitive as the rest of us!

So very early on we learn the cause of Drew's heartache. It's virtually a punch in the face to a man who was obviously deeply in love. *whispers* But it's okay. We want this to happen to Drew.... *whispers* He falls down the track of becoming a depressed little button, believing his life isn't really worth living. I felt such a connection with Drew during these moments and loved that he truly opened up.

But then his little lost heart starts to wander. He takes notice of things and people that he didn't notice before. One of them being an employee.... Raven.

The introduction of Raven was awesome. She is awesome. I love Raven. Her persona, her quirkiness, her everything! She is the purple light in Drew's life. A friend... *cough cough* with extra benefits.

Both of them have their flaws, which surprisingly works between them. We follow the path each character takes with a few bumps along the way. But the question is: Will they take the plunge together and take a chance on love, or will they just enjoy the non-committal coupling they have both started to enjoy?

Evanscent Ink is a hot as hell romance novel with a heavy dose of angst. You will absolutely fall in love with these characters. And it is always hilarious when the other mofos pop in to say hello!

I have read each and every one of the copperline books and each time I know it will blow me away but don't think they can get better each time! Soooo wrong, this series just gets better and hotter. From the first word to the last I am enraptured, the detail in this authors writing is amazing I feel I know each character personally. Just cannot wait to read Justin's story, maybe left the best till last? This series is a truly must read, you won't be disappointed X

Let me just begin with a warning....this lady will create a fire in your pants that will spread like the plague. It's going to slowly creep upwards through your loins to that warm beating place....i'm talking about your HEARTS -eyeroll- y'all are animals ;)
Ok, Drew Massey....lets just get this out of the way....he's mine. no i wont share him, sorry Sis but the boy is MINE....ok...kinda crushing on Raven too #NoJudgementsShesHot
Drew is a ''broken'' man, his heart has been ripped out of his chest by the vapicious little skank who wanted to use him as a human stepladder to the big time. Enter the stunning and enigmatic Raven...she's a smoking hot steam punk goddess with more unclaimed baggage than Gatwick. Neither have ever truly felt like they're enough.
The two have instant chemistry...but will it ultimately equate to more than a deep felt urge to bump uglies? well...if you want to find out then you need to haul your arses to one click this modern day masterpiece...you wont be sorry!
Right what did i think? well....i pouted, wiggled...in the good way! this lady has a direct line to my lady parts!!....i welled up a little once or twice but the true seller for this book for me....i never once felt like this was predictable!
Watching Drew and Raven's tale slowly unfold like a rose in bloom was truly beautiful. The more you read...the deeper you become emotionally invested in their story....you begin to crave the Raven minus the mask and the Drew minus the heartache.
Sib has created a unique legacy with this collection....while i believe that you could potentially read this as a stand alone.....i defy you to finish it and not find yourself on Amazon buying the rest of the series!
5 exceptionally well deserved stars!
