Van Riel and Fombrum stlye of writing both engages the reader and provides authoritative insight into a very important component of business mangement.
For students of Marketing , Business and Public Relations the book provides an excellent platform to both understand and explore theory and practice of corporate communications with simple graphics and commentry. A valuable book that should be on all the book shelves of marketing and business managers. Easy to read and clearly presented.

Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I can't believe the Kindle version costs so much money! There are no anchors so you have to guess where the chapters start. I have wasted so much time trying to navigate this book when I should be studying. For a Corporate Communication book - its sending out a shoddy message! And the publishers should have quality checked this before selling.

This is an excellent book. This and Fombrun (1995) are two excellent introductions to the reputational aspects of corporate communication. This field has attracted a lot of fakirs but this book provides solid guidance and widsom for managers and students.
