Apart from an overabundance of the word "smirk" and the use of "Mr Winkie" in the series it is a great read and an enjoyable summer holiday book (all 3 in the series in the box set together) I look forward to the next one.

I like an easy read as well as a good murder mystery. I also like forensic novels. These are even better when there is a main character, all in a series.

This is a great series of light reading to relax with at the end of the day. Good humour, clever plot, but not exacting so great beach or quiet winter read.

If you want an easy read at a good price this is for you. The writing isn't too demanding, but sometimes that's what you need... Characters are interesting, plot's are ok. Well worth the money for a cheap download but wouldn't have paid full price for the 3 books.

I loved this series of books. Very good reading. I went straight through all three and read into the night on a couple of occasions

All the story's are lighthearted and not to hard to read! There were some story lines that I don't think were explained completely to the reader at the end, but overall it's was a good book!

Too much talk of food and how it tastes, looks and how it's eaten, etc and no obese people. Too much of repeating of what happened, or how people met in previous books. Bit of comedy. But unrealistic scenarios. Normal people would ha e been arrested for police obstruction.

Not my cup of tea!
I may be old fashioned but I do not find the use of slang expressions, or the constant harping on of food appreciation,
and other mundane reference to the appearance of the story teller, appealing.
