Format: Paperback
Headline's 'Eroticon' series of anthologies provides a useful service in bringing a wide range of (mostly old) erotic literature to the attention of readers in the form of brief, reasonably representative extracts. It is probable that most interested readers are already familiar with the large number of complete works published by Headline, at at least some of these are included here in introductory form. The compilation presented here comprises 'tasters' from 'The Modern Eveline', Noel Amos' 'Lust on the Loose', 'Madeleine, a Lady of Quality', Marcus Heller's 'The Wantons', 'The Whip Angels', 'Another Country', 'The Altar of Venus', 'The Courtesan', 'Wanton Pleasures' (also known as 'Until she Screams'), 'Venus Schoolmistress', 'Bare Necessities', 'Jazz Baby', Noel Amos' 'Lust at Large', and a short extract from the epic 'My Secret Life'. It's an entertaining selection, totalling 342 pages, providing a good introduction to the genre.
