It is really disappointing that this book is only available in AZW4 format and therefore not available on all my devices. I am unable to view it on my kindle paperwhite or kindle iphone app. This was not made clear at the time of purchase and considerably reduces the value of having the book in electronic format.

Format: Hardcover
Appears to be a major re-write of an excellent textbook. Broader emphasis on civilian topics and more clinical aviation medicine now. Larger and clearer format compared with the 3rd edition. Excellent.

Three Days to send across half the World! An excellent book where you'll find evertything that's even slightly connected to Aviation medicine. Real happy with this book and the Amazon service.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ernsting's Aviation Medicine 24 April 2013

It is very difficult to review a textbook!!!!!!!!
Ask me again at the end of 2014, when, hopefully, I will have passed the BSc [Hons] Aerospace Medicine, a degree run by the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
I am now halfway through my first year of the degree, and the only negative comment I have about this book is that it is written by men, and contains very little reference to females in the world of aviation!
