I'd been looking around for a new chair as my ancient fixed arm office chair was slowly losing its covering and didn't fit under the desk meaning I was leaning back to type.
High on my list of attributes for a new chair were height adjustable arms and some sort of lumbar support. I spend a lot of time typing.
I'd seen this chair on the high street at an extortionate price, as soon as I sat in it I could tell that this chair and I were going to be very happy together.
Down to details:
The chair arrives ina box 4ft by 2ft. The box was a little tatty but the contents were pristine due to extensive use of cardboard, bubble wrap and tape.
Assembly instructions were included, and were clear, the chair cant be assembled wrongly. The screws, washers and allen key were supplied in a blister pack - no chance of losing anything from this during shipping, you'll need scissors to get into it! Assembly took around 1/2 hour, I used a ratchet screwdriver with an appropriate bit, using the supplied allen key might take a bit longer.
Once assembled this chair is heavy, and solid, as befits its 25 stone weight rating.
Just about everything is adjustable for your comfort. I chose to set the arms pointing backwards against the instructions advice but that is my preference and shows the flexibility of the design.
In short - if you spend a lot of time at the keyboard - this is the chair for you!

I really liked this chair, the only negative when I bought it was that it would unbalance and the headrest was annoyingly placed and the arms would not fit under my desk. But it was comfy and gave better back support for me than any other chair I have owned. It's been three years and it's not doing well,we bought a house a year ago and I discovered this chair does not like carpets and the wheels are starting to break and the actual foot has now bent as well. This would be a small issue if I could find replacement parts, but alas I cannot. I was a good chair but only lasting three years in total is a bit poor.

I think it's hard to buy a chair online, especially if you're like me, and make your living sat on it. It needs to be right, so you need to test it.

Luckily, I'd found this chair in Staples beforehand, and they were doing a 'buy one get one free offer'. After the manager found my maths inconceivable (that he should just sell me one at half price), and refused to take my money, I found it on here for less than half the price of Staples anyway.

This chair did not disappoint. The headrest doesn't go high enough to be of any use to me, but I never sit right back into the chair anyway (I'm more hunched over my keyboard). It is very heavy, and surprised me when I sat on it and tried to roll around a bit. It's reassuring though, and the mesh back and seat were something I'd not tried before, but will definitely look for again.

If I were being overly picky, I'd say that the seat tilt lever could have been a bit more sturdy. It's just a plastic flap, and doesn't seem to match the rest of the chair in terms of build quality. It's not going to break any time soon though, and I barely touch it, so it's not an issue for me.

Assembly took me a little longer than expected, but that's probably because of the weight. Give yourself plenty of space to work in! I ended up putting the arm rests on the wrong way round so I can get closer to the desk. They're still just as comfy.

Definitely worth it in my opinion.

There is nothing ergonomic about this chair. I have always had decent office chairs and never had back pain, until I bought this one.

I am 188cm (6'2") tall. The lumbar support does not move high enough to support anything but my hip.
The padding of the main seating area is inadequate and numbs backside and legs after a while.
Unless I want to mount my monitor on the ceiling, the head rest is unfunctional.

I was expecting more for £150.

UPDATE: I've used this chair now for a few months and I can confirm that this is the worst chair I've ever sat on. Do not buy.

I've had this chair for about a month now, I needed a chair that had good support for the lower back, didn't want leather as can make you sweat. I did try the chair in Staples and it seemed quite comfy, but this one I find very hard to sit on, had to remove the arms as they got in the way, they don't go low enough for me so are either too high up or hit the edge of the desk. The tilt only locks into 2 positions, the first I find is too close and started to give me pain between my shoulder blades, the second position is too far back so I have loosened the tilt tension, but still feel like the chair is pushing me forward. I don't really use the headrest, just gets in the way. My son is 5'10" and a lot bigger/heavier and he finds the chair comfortable. I am very disappointed as its not a cheap chair and I work from home so needed something comfortable as I use it quite a number of hours each day.

Overall I think this chair is designed for a man or larger person.

I ordered this chair from Officefurnitureonline.co.uk And I would to say many thanks to all the previous reviewers on that site, they persuaded me to spend a bit more and purchase this excellent chair.

There was a bit of a kerfuffle with the delivery which was a mistake by the courier APC, the staff at OFO were very helpful and professional.

But I don't want to reduce the rating for what is an excellently designed and manufactured chair. (I'm an ex-engineer)

If I had thought it was possible to be this comfortable to sit at my desk I would have bought this chair years ago.

Adjustable in every way, should suit every size and shape (i will accept that the seat cushion is firm but that to me is a plus). The product comes in a flat pack, but if you follow the video instructions on you tube you'll be fine. It would have been helpful to have an assembly drawing for non computer people.

Buy it and enjoy it. (I spent hours on Amazon trying to find a suitable chair but couuldn't be convinced by any of the many customer reviews for other chairs, so again thanks to you all)
