BUT the amount of money it takes to keep this thing going is staggering. I knew ink was expensive before I bought it but I assumed that would be it. There was constant issues with it so much so after 18 months I couldn't print full page prints as the left hand side of the print was extremely poor quality and unusable. Service and warranty fees are a joke, may as well buy a new printer, you expect that from a cheap printer not one worth £1000. I made a few calls to non Epson printer servicing companies who whilst cheaper could not promise a fix in fact told me most likely it was unrepairable without replacing a significant amount of parts.
So bare in mind yes it makes superb quality and if looked after well should probably last a year and a half but after that you're on borrowed time. Once it breaks you will have to spend alot or ditch the printer.
contacting Epson is of no use as their back up is pathetic and a call out or repair is just not economical.
so what am I supposed to do with it? it does print if you constantly clean the heads but that in itself is very costly to do! shame good when it works but buy another one! NO WAY!
