I was reading this book and not sure how I was going to rate it.
It is a continuation of the series which I am still loving.
Having got to the end of the book - which did end a bit abruptly for me - I knew that it had to be no less than a 5 star rating!

Sawyer is an adorable, witty and charasmatic character. He selflessly takes on Emmett and her "baggage" (sorry to describe it like that, but don't want to be reveal a spoiler!) and completely falls in love with her. It is such a heartfelt story but what I really, really liked is the way the author writes and describes the male POV and perspective - to-a-T!! Whilst I am a complete romantic with the hearts and flowers, the writing of Sawyer's POV is so spot on accurate and the way the writing flips between the female and male, so you really get a difference of perspective, is fab!
I found myself flipping back to the first book to recall the moment when the Crew first came together.

I am aware that there is a final book in the off-ing. I suspect it will be Zach's story or it might be a combo of Tate/Bennett and Zach - as these are the only members who have not had their story highlighted.
In any case, I can't wait to get my hands on - thanks for a fabulous journey so far!

This probably has to be one of my favourite series and each book is different in certain ways even though the main storyline is meeting and falling in love.

Sawyer Beckett is a real character. He's a big player, in and out of women's bed, has a temper on him but he is really loyal to his friends and he is Dane's best friend who we meet more in Book 1, Emerge. He spots this beautiful girl on stage at a mate's party and he feels something. He can't stop thinking about her and he tries to find her but to no luck. He finally gets to meet but their meeting his in a rather awkward situation that doesn't help his mission to entice her. This girl is Emmett Young.

Emmett Young is a mystery when we first meet her. She has a few secrets that are big and if anything were to happen with Sawyer, she knows he will run so she vows to have him as a best friend rather than nothing but their chemistry and attractive throws down a whole different path.

This series is brilliant and i always look forward to the next book. Every character is easy to love no matter the situation and the story lines always have me hooked. A fantastic story and one i really loved reading. Looking for to the next book.

4.5 stars from me :) I really enjoyed this story, I loved Sawyer. This book gave me the same feels as when I read Beautiful Disaster. Sawyer is a young guy, working, college, screwing around, until he falls in love. Emmet, the recipient of his love, is a young girl with problems of her own. My one criticism would be three-quarters through we got that, 'have they fallen out? - Surely they haven't over that little thing' thing. Now, this is young love, late teens/early twenties, so it's to be expected. I'm just a grumpy 48-year-old that sighs at that :) So, ignore me. Hall writes an enthralling story, the pace is great, the characterisation is good and developed. I loved the connection Sawyer had with his friends and ultimately with Emmet. If you're a fan of Jamie McQuire, of Abbi Glines, you're going to love this book. I haven't read any of the series so went in only having met Sawyer in Hall's latest release and had no trouble understanding who was who. It read completely as a standalone. I will be going back to the series and reading more - Highly recommended.

I was eagerly anticipating Sawyers story since the first book where he's introduced. He's always been portrayed as a fierce friend who is extremely loving and loyal, with a bit of a bad boy vibe and a good piece of equipment that he just can't keep in his pants. Enter Emmett.

Sawyer is so sweet and throughout the books you see his attitude towards relationships change. He craves what his friends have, that girl who comes along and changes everything. He falls hard for Emmett the moment he sees her, even if it's not in the most glorious of situations. Sawyer is determined to track her down and when he does, again it's not in the best position. He doesn't seem to have much luck with good timing.

Emmett is a sweet girl with more baggage than she deserves but Sawyer doesn't see it that way. What he does for Emmett is far more than any other man would do and it really just makes him my absolute favourite character! The book has a few twists and turns, moments where Sawyer has to prove himself. Emmett doesn't believe herself worthy of such affection and Sawyer is trying to do what he thinks is right but forgetting what's important.

You ultimately know that everything is going to work out fine because throughout the books you've grown to have complete faith in Sawyer. If he was a real person he is someone you would gladly have as your best friend. I didn't just fall for this book, I fell for the characters and even though there were times I thought 'wow, they're so young', they are actually all slightly different ages and you get to see them all grow together anyway, this book really shows how much they've grown.
