Matt Price has taken the 20th-century roadmap Saul Alinsky offered activists and turned it into a 21st-century global positioning system. (Allan R. Gregg, opinion researcher and a principal with the Earnscliffe Strategy Group)
Getting organized and giving citizens the tools, information, and allies they need to engage in the decisions that shape our future is the most important work of our time. Our climate, our water, and our democracy need this book. (Tzeporah Berman, environmental activist, campaigner, writer, and an adjunct professor at York University)
Engagement Organizing combines substantive and analytical depth with highly readable, concise prose. I expect the book will end up on the shelf of virtually any thoughtful organizer and on the reading lists of many university classes as well. (George Hoberg, Professor at the Liu Institute for Global Issues and associate of the Department of Political Science, UBC)
About the Author

Really enjoyed Engagement Organizing. It's a practical guide to how those looking to win change can bring together the best of community organising ideas with the latest digital campaigning approaches. The case studies, although mainly Canadian, are really informative, and have lots of crossover lessons for those involved in social change here in the UK. I'd recommend it.
