Used it for several months without any issues as the Watts checked were under 1 kilowatt (1000 W) like laptop charger, phone charger, PC, printer, etc.
Tested some tools which have a power draw of 2200W (2.2KW) and the Energenie Equipment nearly caught fire (thank GOD I hear spark sounds and smell of burnt otherwise who knows what might have happened).
The device is extremely easy to use but unfortunately, as others pointed out as well, is IS EXTREMELY dangerous.
Concerns arose regarding the load it can handle which is MAX 13A, 3120W on the label it has is totally INCORRECT.
This product is a fire hazard is you wish to measure equipment above 2200W or 2.2kW (any big-ish power tool, kettle, electric style heater, and others). Needless to say, the power plug that was in it is carbonised now. The 13A fuse did not burn, still usable.
The design is nice and solid, except the above.
The display has presented no issues.
One major plus: Even Burnt it still works, although I will probably never re-use it after this.
