5.0 out of 5 stars Ending war, ending corruption in Afghanistan. 22 Oct. 2010
By Tony Gillotte - Published on Amazon.com

Its been long overdue for a book to layout a plan of action that is actually achievable on the subject of ending the war in Afghanistan. Tribal chieftains, faction leaders all realize that US support ie; payoff money, will end soon so they are choosing up which side to support in the near future. It has always been thus and will continue with or without US interference. Ending the War in Afghanistan lays out a realizable timetable and methodology for a political entity like US to take to end the killing of innocent men, women and children and end the slaughter of US troops. Leave the equipment behind and get out of there as soon as possible. Thats what Ending the War recommends and I agree with.

Anything that David Wildman writes is worth reading. A must-read for anyone who is interested in peace and justice. I just wish that all of our soldiers were out.

Well presented discussion of the context of the war in Afghanistan. Well sourced. Informative and persuasive. Full of perspectives often left out of mainstream coverage of the war, such as the condition of women on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan.
