5.0 out of 5 stars Aliens or man-made? 9 Jun. 2015

It really takes a creative, talented person to come up with this type of scenario. Sadly, I can't...but so glad others can. Mr. Peters has written a very good book. Dylan & Michelle have seemed to take on some much needed skills as the book progresses. Lot of characters, lots of monsters and plenty of insane gore...Really liked it....
2.0 out of 5 stars an ok series 3 Sept. 2013

This review is for books 1,2 & 4, the third book is an aside on one of the characters I didn't care enough about to read. My reviews are based on really how much I enjoy the book(s) and not on anything complicated. While I'm aware most indie books have editing issues I can usually bypass them if they don't take me out of the story too much. This book is no exception. Many errors with spelling, word choice and a couple of places did pull me out trying to figure out what the author was trying to say. The main drawback for me was the creatures. I didn't care for them at all and they seemed more like aliens and that is just not my cup of tea. Give me traditional stupid zombies any day. However if you can buy into them you will probably like the series. Though the people go through hell fighting them they have pretty good luck surviving. If you like your zombie lore dark this series won't work for you. I did like the happy ending though. As always your mileage may vary.

5.0 out of 5 stars End World 31 Jan. 2012

I read a lot! I was interested in reading this book because we are family in a way and I have never known anyone to write a book before. I liked the names he chose for his characters, it made me smile. I like that there was a little humor and fun between Dylan and Nicole in such a dark time. I loved their relationship. I thought the book was very well written and it flowed well. It kept me interested, I read it in 2 days. The explanation for what the corrupted were was very interesting. I had no idea that is where it was going. It was different and not a typical story. I look forward to reading more from him.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend for sci-fi lovers! 30 May 2011

I loved this book and couldn't put it down. This was like reading a good Dean Koontz book, but better.

End World-Dawn of the Corrupted takes you along on Dylan and Niccole's journey from Colfax, Washington down to Paradise Hills in Oregon. An infection of unknown origin sweeps the country that changes life as they know it and sends them straight into a series of adventures. Along the way they fight a new species dubbed the Hunters and the Corrupted, they rescue stranded survivors and never let you forget the love they have for each other.

This book had me on the edge of my seat, made me feel happy and sad. My only complaint is not knowing how long I will have to wait for the next book. Please write quick Mr. Peters, I must know the fate of Dylan, Niccole and Mankind.
2.0 out of 5 stars New take on the "Zombie" genre 25 Dec. 2012
By Thomas E. Ramsey - Published on Amazon.com

This story is very different and has an interesting story line. Simplely stated: The dead come back as demonds, walking bombs or dumb workers? The story would have been more interesting to me if there was some explaination of how it all began, and how everything changed so fast. The two brothers are just to simple, and the wife is the same. The whole world falls apart but this little village beats down this vicious army of evil creatures and their slaves. A bite does turn you into one of theseZombie. I had a hard time finishing it. Certain readers will find it enjoyable, but being a zombie fan, I did not.
