About the Author
preliminary coaching badge and first class
referee status during his RAF days in the
fifties. He refereed in the first Asian Cup
in 1956 controlling games between
National China and South Korea inTaipei
andVietnam v Israel in Hong Kong in his
middle twenties and also the Hong Kong
Shield Final in 1957.When he returned
to the UK he refereed in professional
football before a knee injury put paid to
his refereeing ambitions. He coached in
Thailand and Hong Kong and managed
Northern Nomads in the then
Lancashire Combination for a few
seasons before becoming a professional
photographer full time travelling
worldwide. He is a Fellow of the Royal
Photographic Society and presented
AudioVisual shows in theatres and halls
in the UK for Agfa and Nikon in the `70s
and early `80s. He also produced an audio
visual for "All Roads LeadTo Eastlands"
a track on the latest DVD by the
Dandelion Clocks, a Manchester-based
band.Now`retired' among his clients
were Gulf Air, Clynol, SAS, Saudia
Catering, and the British Army.
