The pictures are very clear ,and the information given about them is easy to understand, and easy to absorb. I got this book in Early January and it's now early February, and my knowledge has increased greatly, not only from identifying plants/trees/shrubs, but how to care for plants/trees/shrubs, and which conditions they grow best in, and when they will bloom.
I can not in all honesty, think of anything about this book to dislike.
I would recommend this book, to anyone who wants to know what plants/trees/shrubs look good in their garden, or who is interested in gardening as a career.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the above points
Daughter thoroughly pleased with her present.
New house, new home, new expectations.
This book is a must.
sections on trees, shrubs, flowers, bulbs etc; etc; with all the information you need to position the plant
look after it well. I have used the original for years to good effect, but my copy had become damaged
and somewhat 'dog-eared' I had the opportunity to purchase this new edition at a very competitive price
This is a top quality book. . full of information in straightforward format and beautifully illustrated throughout.
As you would expect for a RHS references book excellent, picture and information.
