Review

"This is a major reference work of great use to those engaged in botany, horticulture and plant ecology - I shall certainly keep it handy on my bookshelf."

"The contributing authors have done a find job of reducing the wealth of information that exists on many of these species to a concise and helpful text....overall this is an essential text for any serious horticultural or indeed botanical library."

"It admirably fulfills its mission and represents a major contribution to pomology, as well as being a convenience for researchers."

A very concise listing of all types of fruit and nuts, very much a bible for any student or professional. With excellent descriptions and notes. Expensive but for the price a must for your library shelf. As I grow fruit rootstocks [...] and I collect old varieties of fruit and nuts, this is an asset.
