His past books include The Encyclopedia of Serial Killers, The Encyclopedia of American Law Enforcement, The Encyclopedia of Kidnappings, and The Encyclopedia of Unsolved Crimes, all for Facts On File and Checkmark Books. He lives in Nashville, IN. John L. French is a crime scene supervisor with the Baltimore Police Crime Laboratory.
