Product Description

Bearded Dragons are Australian members of the family of Agamidae. They are large, spectacular and easily tamed lizards that have proved quite easy to breed in captivity and are popular with petkeepers. A number of colour forms have been selectively bred. Nearly all agamids are showy lizards, many of which are colourful and have crests and other ornamentation designed to make them look bigger to predators and rivals, and more attractive to the opposite sex. The book is written in a very accessible and easy to understand style and is illustrated with a wealth of colour photographs and illustrations, which visually support the comprehensive text.

A fantastic, in depth beginners guide to keeping bearded dragons. If you have never kept bearded dragons before and are not too sure on the ins and outs of them, their natures and simply the dos and donts then this is most certainly the book for you.

We bought this to learn the basics that we should know for keeping them, and were actually recommended the book by a breeder. The photos are great and most certainly help when it comes to assisting with the text and even some clarification on something which seasoned dragon keepers might think simple.

In conclusion, the value for money against other books is great, all you will need to know to keep your scaly friend healthy, happy and importantly, safe. I cant recommend this highly enough.

Great book! We bought it for me son as a gift from Santa to go with his first ever Bearded Dragon, which Santa also bought ( I wish Santa was as generous with me!). He has read the book from cover to cover several times and loves it.
It is clear, easy to read and very informative

Really excellent guide would have been 5stars if it was totally based on berries as it is nice to know about other lizards but not essential for me
