It's actually a really nice colouring book, for kids or adults. The pictures are detailed and complicated, some really hard work has gone into designing each and every inch of the paper. The book itself is really high quality, and the paper doesn't let ink seep through too.
I really like it, I have no complaints whatsoever. Whether you're a fan of colouring or buying it for someone who is, I think it's fantastic and if you're on the fence you should definitely go for it.

I have only shown one or two of the amazing illustrations of the book and of course the book cover , there are many equally as stunning in the book .Even the cover inside wastes no space ,. The quality of the paper is excellent , its thick , wont show though as you work your way through the book . The colour of the paper i had was slightly tinted yellow , antique looking and i think it sits easier on the eye , than bright white and gives the book that special feel ..
I absolutely adore the book and will be getting more , looking forward to coloring in as part of my anti stress therapy.
The pictures in this book are beautiful and varied with some extremely detailed that will take an age to complete while others are smaller and less challenging. The themes are magical covering castles, animals and forest scenes obviously from the title. They certainly appeal and tempt you to get your colouring pencils out and begin. A worthwhile buy for all ages and an excellent starter colouring book for all the family to try.
The paper is very thick and cardlike with a fab tooth that takes all sorts of mediums well from gel pens and fineliners to pencils
The paper is coloured and not white so i'd suggest trying out your chosen colours at the back of the book before starting just to see what they will look like on the coloured paper
No bleedthrough at all and i've used fineliners, spectrum noir sparkle pens, pencils and gel pens with no issues
Images are double sided, there are some double page spreads and images do go into the spine
The cover is removable and features a lovely image to colour in on the inside of it which you could use as a poster if you wanted
Binding used is brilliant and it feels very secure and well bound
