Its a comfortable size and fits neatly in hand. At first I found the two main buttons were quite sensitive to touch but given 20min game-time this adds to the precision of the unit and the advantages can be seen whilst gamin.
There is a gaming mat included, which is a good touch, and it accomodates the glide of the mouse well.
This must be one of the best Gaming mice on the market for less than £20. It was bought with the Emprex Cheetah Gaming Keyboard. Both items are worth every penny and could easily pass as a gaming set which cost £100+.
Also it comes with a fold away rubber mouse mat, sounds cheap but the mat gives a perfect response from the mouse and is a very easy surface to move the mouse over. I also discovered last night that the mouse mat glows in the dark :S so if you ever happen to have your monitor off whilst your PC is on you will have a glowy white mouse mat :)
All in all. A great buy. Recommended.
After a lengthy search, plus trying some wireless mice I decided on this.
It has a nice full hand size with a reasonable weight, buttons can be programmed although on odd occasions seemed to reset to default dependant on the applications running as the time.
The wheel lights up different colours depending on the dpi setting, but as I dont look at the mouse while gaming I found cycling the button worked very well with almost instant 180 degree spins of a weapon.
USB cable is a good length.
Probably the best feature is the 'free' mouse mat this seems to give added precision in aiming and with the highest dpi selected the mouse moves about 1 cm to give a cursor movement of a full 22" wide screen - all considered all I am happy with it tho' would like the addition of weights to enable a little more precision, but that's me.
As a budget super mouse I would recommend it to most users who need a high dpi with some function edit.
I opened the packaging and inside was the mouse, drivers and the mousemat rolled up (nearly missed it).
The software that comes with the mouse is quite good it lets you customise the options of the different profiles that you can choose with the button behind the middle mouse button.
My only problem with the mouse is the buttons on the sides, I find the one on the left easy to click but not so much the one on the right, this is because I am right handed and my thumb rests on the left button. This is becuase it is designed for a left handed person to use and is ssymetrical, I can imagine a left handed person would have the same issues but reversed.
Anyway it is a good mouse, would recommend it to anyone, its good for gaming and it is a good price compared to other gaming mice.
The colour of the scroll wheel changes colour according to which DPI you set it at. You can also synchronise the lights on the mouse with music coming from your PC (according to the instructions) although many people (like me) won't really use this feature!
The clicking IS a bit louder than most, however, this doesn't bother me in the slightest - if you are looking for a quiet click though, you probably should look elsewhere.
The mat included is also not to be sneezed at - it's rubbery on the bottom which has brilliant grip against the wooden desk and doesn't move around at all. As someone else said, it goes perfectly with this mouse.
You probably couldn't beat this for the price.
If you are getting this, and also looking for a microphone, I'd recommend trying this out: Trust MC-1200 PC Microphone It's a £4 microphone that works surprisingly well. I've had one for over 2 years and it still works!
