Product description

Emergency 3: Mission Life: Follow-up to the European strategy hit Emergency 2. Reworked from the ground up, the sequel offers freely rotatable 3D graphics -- a first in the series -- as well as realistic light, shadow, and weather effects. Emergency 3: The Ultimate Fight for Life also offers day and night changes and plenty of eye-pleasing animations. As for missions, there are 20 different ones, ranging from firemen, police to ambulances. Developed by German studio Sixteen Tons. Emergency 4: Global Fighters For Life: Emergency 4 boasts a rich mix of gripping real-time strategy game and true-to-life simulation. The player becomes head of operations in a fictional rescue and catastrophe management organisation, in command of a number of vehicles and staff from the fire department, medical rescue, police and technical services. For the first time in the history of the Emergency series, all campaign missions are embedded into one continuous game set in a real town with a sheer infinite number of side-operations and tasks, so linking the various missions together. The player has to manage money as well as setting the right pre-requisites for upcoming missions. The player has to react to a variety of events, developing dynamically 24/7, set against a background of continuous day/night changes and constantly varying weather conditions.

This is by far the best game in the world, I certainly could not live without it.
In this game you can take control of police, E.M.S, fire and rescue. You are the controller of this mini world as you control personnel, vehicles and money. You can get additional downloads like modifications for the game, I have got the L.A. mod, Its really cool. It has more vehicles and personnel and you can have loads more fun with this. I got it off of Emergency-planet.com, but just type in 'L.A. mod' in google and it will be the first link.

good game

I've played only Emergency 4 so far. The game is worth several hours of fun - and frustration. At the default difficulty setting it is challenging enough especially in sequences that have time limits. Usually first try at a mission is just trying to figure about what one is supposed to do, the second try is actually first serious attempt at it. Sometimes it feels a bit tedious to have totally "dumb" crew as one has to micro manage firemen to pick up fire hoses, then hooking them up and aiming to fire. Same for paramedics, sometimes they treat the victim automatically but too often they just stand there next to the victim pondering nicer things I guess. Also the game is quite unforgiving, it's easy to be run out of budget even if some response vehicle would still be needed to finish the mission. It can be just one patient to be extracted but if there's no money left, the mission can't be completed.
But that being said, the game is well made and is addictive, it's a very fulfilling feeling to complete a difficult mission. Overall I would recommend the game to anyone who likes fire trucks, ambulances and police vehicles. Also the game gives some perspective about what it must be like to try to dispatch correct units to major incidents in real life, when the time is in the essence and little details of the incident are known.
