I feel privileged to be a part of ELVIS PRESLEY: CAUGHT IN A TRAP, as I know Spencer writes with honesty and integrity and a genuine love for his subjects. --Russell Watson
A great biography of the man they called King. To write about any entertainer is an undertaking of love, to speak to band members, the people that make up the life and to scrutinise the details without being sensational for melodramatic sake is to be applauded. --Liverpool Sound and Vision
Believe me, it is the definitive book on Elvis Presley. --Dr Rock, BBC Radio York
