Product description

Product Description

Captive State's debut EP is a well-formed combination of psych-folk and radio-friendly indie rock combined with a leftfield `beats' sensibility with a resulting sound akin to Air remixing the Beta Band's "Three EPs", fronted by Guy Garvey's kid brother. The band's first demos received high praise from Brian Eno and the Elmore Grove EP has been heavily supported on Radio 2 by Bob Harris and Stuart Maconie/Mark Radcliffe.

`The seductive Mona marries chilled folk and knowing indie, while the beautiful China White Doll has a lovely brass intro and piano coda.' -- Paul Sexton (Music Week) exton (Music Week)
