In ELLIE THE ELEPHANT by M. G. Edwards we are able to learn from Ellie the importance of working hard but also being able to follow your heart.
The story takes us into Ellie's journey of wanting something more for herself than just farming with the family. She wanted to play Elephant Polo---and she wanted to be the best at it. Her brother believed in her, but it took some persuading for her family to come on board. In the end they all just wanted the best for Ellie, and she was able to feel their love and support.
In the story readers of all ages can see how we have to be able to move forward, even if things don't always turn out the way we would plan. Ellie also shows us that hard work and dedication pay off.
Written in an entertaining way that is both educational and inspirational ELLIE THE ELEPHANT shows what is possible.
I love that Ellie is a great example to follow your dreams, instead of giving up.
I also like that she encourages kids to listen and respect their parents.
