Straight away you're swept along with Ellen and she makes you feel involved. Her story is shown from childhood (in brief with photos) right up to the Vendee Globe awards, having been around the world on Kingfisher with her during the epic voyage from France down through the daunting Southern Ocean and back.
The highs and lows are all shown. There are times when events seem to conspire against Ellen and you could cry with her and times when she faces her worst fears, overcomes great struggles and you feel the elation too!
Absolutely brilliant - and not just for sailors either!
My only regret is that it's not available on DVD. I think I'm in danger of wearing my video out!
