Elizabeth Flynn is a Londoner of Anglo-Irish parentage. An ex-actress, she has also worked backstage in a variety of London theatres. However she has always written and has a particular interest in crime fiction. For several years she has also been a keen tennis fan and is very happy that her first novel, Game, Set and Murder, is a murder mystery set in the tennis world.
Her second 'D.I.Costello' investigation, Dead Gorgeous, is set in the fashion industry. In the high-profile, glamorous surroundings of this world it isn't long before Angela Costello discovers a much less beautiful underbelly involving drugs, fraud and sexual slavery. Unravelling the mystery puts even her own life in danger.
The third novel in the series, End Of The Roadie, takes Angela Costello behind the scenes at a major London concert venue after the roadie for a pop/rock star is murdered. She quickly learns that the music and energy generated in front of the audience hides tensions, intrigue and crime back stage. Why was the dead man not popular? Why did the star, Brendan Phelan, continue to employ him? And who is the unknown presence lurking behind all the others, waiting for an opportunity to take advantage of the situation?
