Product description

Product Description

A beautiful package, Soul Jazz Records' Universal Sound are proud to present the reissue of Pharoah Sanders' 'Elevations' originally released on Impulse Records in 1973. A seminal release from Pharoah Sanders recorded in 1973 for Impulse! Records. At this point the label was in a renaissance, with Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane, Michael White, Sam Rivers, Marion Brown and other jazz greats all recording for the label, many of these artists having an association with John Coltrane in the 1960s, none less than saxophonist Pharoah Sanders, who had played in the groups of both John Coltrane and Alice Coltrane. Deep spiritual jazz released in heavyweight 180gm audiophile vinyl edition in a deluxe gatefold sleeve.
