This state-of-the-art, ultra stylish Stainless Steel Electronic Salt and Pepper Mill really needs to be seen and used to be fully appreciated. Certainly a great talking point over any meal (it will soon become the chefs choice in the kitchen), one handed operation (just depress the button on the top) is all that is required, with none of that violent twisting back and forth you usually associate with ordinary mills. What's more it delivers the salt or pepper where you want it, rather than all over the tablecloth, kitchen work surface or hob. Its motorised ceramic grinding mechanism is harder and more superior to that of an ordinary metal mill grinder and can be easily adjusted to give you coarse or fine grinding. Also ideal for grinding other herbs and spice s, the electronic grinder has a built-in light on the bottom that illuminates the grinding area whilst in operation. Beautifully crafted from 18/8 stainless steel with a brushed finish it measures 23cm (9ins) high and each mill requires 4 x AA batteries (not supplied).

I have gone through many a 'cheap' electronic pepper mill (and i would consider the current item in this category). They have all failed to perform adequately and all eventually fail. Ask yourself why these mills are being offered 'buy one get one free' (in case one should break down perhaps?) and save yourself the frustration and expense and invest in something pricier that you can be sure will work well and last.

These mills are smart looking and a good weight. They are very good value as most of this type of mill is a lot more expensive. Read morePublished on 25 Aug. 2011 by Lulu
