Very efficient cool box.

Its is good, works really well. The hot and cold settings are both very effective. If you are able to pre cool the box the cold setting is particularly effective. I had it plugged into the mains at home for a couple of hours with pre-frozen freezer blocks in, and then took the blocks out and put in the items I wanted kept cool along with some fresh pre-frozen blocks. We went on a two hour drive with the box plugged into the power socket and then a four hour picnic away from the car, so obviously not plugged in. The box kept everything at about 5 degrees according to the fridge thermometer I had in the box. This was well below the ambient temperature of about 22 degrees. My only criticism is that the box is quite bulky, not heavy, just bulky. It won't fit behind the front seats of our car. Our non-powered box does. If you want to transport it in the boot of the car you may need an extension lead to connect it to the car power socket if it is in the front of the vehicle.

This coolbox was just right for our drive across Europe this summer. With a power outlet in the car boot, it could just sit there keeping our food and drinks at a very decent cool temperature (the drink cans came out feeling 'cold'). The box is big enough to hold two 1.5 litre drink bottles (the cooler motor in the lid hangs quite low, so not all the unit can be used for big bottles).

The unit doesn't make a noticeable noise in the car as general car noise is far louder. But it is very noticeable indoors (such as our hotel room), so needs to be placed well away from sleeping areas to avoid disturbance.

One minor downside I did notice was the large amount of condensation building up inside. We probably pushed the limits as the weather conditions were very hot and humid at the time, but it was still a bit annoying to often find a pool of water in the bottom.

This box is a god send. The hot you can use if you buy a hot chicken from the supermarket or a takeaway it’s still hot when you get it home. Ours just stays in the car we use it all the time. The cold if you go shopping and buy cold food you can just put it all in the box and it’s stays cold. Wonderful on a hot day or if you want to shop then go do something else. I wouldn’t advice treating it as a fridge because its not really designed for that. And be careful if you plug it in the car because it doesn’t turn of with the car best to unplug if your going to be sometime. You can also take it from the car and plug in the home if you want to unpack your shopping or what not later. Best to also pre heat or pre cool it works better not long 10mins.

I purchased this for my parents who enjoy long weekend breaks in their caravan, unfortunately, their 24 Litre cool box had died.
I did a lot of searching to find a suitable replacement with the same capacity and features and found this one and it appeared to tick all the right boxes and the price was very competitive.
This is excellent value for money and has more functions than their previous cool box as not only is it a great cool box, you can also use it for keeping stuff hot. It is very well made and comes with all the necessary cables and connections so they can plug it in via the mains or car charger.
It performs incredibly well and is way better than the previous one that they paid twice as much for. easy to clean and very portable with a great solid handle.
Both I and my parents are very impressed with this and for the money, it is a real bargain......highly recommended

We did a lot of research before we bought this electric cool box. We wanted something to keep the wine and milk cool for a few days when we go camping in this country. Other reviewers found it a bit noisy but we didn't have any issues with that at all, it's only a very low whirr of the fan and didn't disturb us at all in the night in our tent. We put cool blocks in and changed them every day as recommended by others and that worked an absolute treat, it kept everything just as if at home in the fridge. It's a good size, plenty of room for the 4 of us. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is a bit of water collects in the bottom of it so I had to give it a wipe out every day but that wasn't a major problem and was outweighed by having lovely cold wine!

Audible fan but not loud, in truth we have it in the Van so it gets turned of at night to preserve battery and still is cool in the morning.
I can see that you could crack the handle if you just grabbed at it and yanked it of the floor when full but that looks potentially the same issue with all of these U shaped handles.

You do need to unplug it to open the lid but again most others are similar in that regard.

Personally I'm very pleased with it.

Used this for a weeks camping trip it performed reasonably well. It is as said a cool box not a refrigerator, it keeps things roughly 15 degrees cooler than ambient within reason. I kept my milk and butter fresh, cans of coke nice and cool even when the tent was boiling hot. As people have said it does drip water inside I put kitchen towel inside each day to mop this up so it is not an issue. The main pain is having to unplug it to open but no great issue.
